Above and Beyond Awards-2004 Application

Outstanding contributions in public education too often go unnoticed. That is why the Massachusetts Software Council Education Foundation created the Above and Beyond Awards in 1996. This unique program acknowledges and rewards the unsung heroes who are encouraging innovative teaching and learning in Massachusetts schools. These Awards recognize best practices in the teaching of math and science at middle schools (grades 6-8). Up to 20 exceptional teachers are chosen to receive a $1,000 grant for classroom use and a plaque for his or her school. Awards are presented in the Spring of each year.

Please complete and submit form before Friday, January 30, 2004

SPECIAL NOTE: Thanks to the generosity of Ascential Software Corporation, there will be an extra monetary award of up to $5,000 for an application that really stands out. No additional work will be required to receive this prize.
