What do customers want to buy? What motivates them to partner with one software company versus another? This new series is intended to help software executives better understand customer requirements. In the three sessions planned for 2004, we will hear from executives representing three different IT specialties.
The first session will feature the Voice of the Chief Security Officer. The CSO has become a key agent for change within corporations today. This executive has the responsibility to keep the organization safe from everything from internal breaches of security to the safety of interacting with customers, suppliers, and partners. This session will explore how a chief security executive thinks about software procurement issues and what purchasing requirements are emerging over the next 12 to 18 months.
Pat Cote, Senior Information Security Officer, Houghton Mifflin
Maria Cirino, CEO, Guardent
Mike Curran, EVP and COO, Boston Stock Exchange
These sessions are designed to be an interactive forum between software providers and customers. The sessions will be moderated by Judith Hurwitz, President, Hurwitz & Associates.
